Kingston Community Tours

If you’re new in Kingston, the GECE is organizing community tours for you to discover the area surrounding Queen’s as well as Kingston’s historic downtown district. This tour is not the same as the SGPS campus tour; so it remains interesting even if you took one last week.

The tours will depart from Walter-Light Hall room 302 at 3:30pm, or after the elections are complete. The tour will return you just in time for some free food at the GECE BBQ.

Wolfe Island Biking Trip

Bicycle

Hi and hope you have enjoyed the summer so far, and hope that the rest of it are full of fun for you!

GECE has planned a Wolfe Island biking trip on Saturday July 30th. Come on out and enjoy the rural landscapes and nice up-close views of wind turbines in Wolfe Island.
We gather at the ferry departure point for a departure at 11am sharp! We will bike on route 2 (Map); then when we’re back, we will stop at Wolfe Island Grill for a drink and then take the ferry back. It is a causal slow pace ride to enjoy the rural landscapes.

It is also possible to rent bikes in Kingston for $25/day: Ahoy Rentals, if you want to rent a bike please reserve it as soon as possible because they have a limited number of bikes!

Here is the map that contains all of the important locations: Map

Hope to see you all,

GECE Exec.
