The Welcome Back 2011 BBQ was a great success. Thanks to all the students, staff and faculty who came out to start the new school year with a blast. A special thanks to the outgoing GECE executive members for making their last event a success.
Come out to the 2011/2012 GECE Recruitment Session. Be an active part of your department and help decide who represents your best interests within the student councils at Queen’s. All GECE positions are open, so come out and help shape your student council.
Snacks and refreshments will be served!
If you’re new in Kingston, the GECE is organizing community tours for you to discover the area surrounding Queen’s as well as Kingston’s historic downtown district. This tour is not the same as the SGPS campus tour; so it remains interesting even if you took one last week.
The tours will depart from Walter-Light Hall room 302 at 3:30pm, or after the elections are complete. The tour will return you just in time for some free food at the GECE BBQ.
Come join us for some fun and games while getting to know your fellow GECE students and professors. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and vegetarian options will be served. Families always welcome. Click through for more information.
Thanks to all of those who came out to the Wolfe Island Biking Trip. Despite the heat, it was a great adventure. We look forward to our next trip. Click through to see all the photos from the event.
